The Heart of Quest

Alma 7:11–13

Alma 7:11–13 is the heart of our Book of Mormon Quest. These verses teach that Jesus Christ took upon Himself our pains, sicknesses, infirmities, sins, and death so that He can heal, strengthen, redeem, save, and transform us.

Our goal is more than memorizing words. We want every Quest participant to know what these verses mean — and to know the Savior they testify of.

A Symbol of the Journey

The Quest Medallion

The Quest Medallion represents our journey to become one with Jesus Christ through His Atonement.

How to Earn Your Quest Medallion

Every youth and adult participating in Quest can earn a Quest Medallion. We invite you to memorize Alma 7:11–13 and pass it off to your ward youth leader.

We recognize that memorization may be especially difficult for some. If that is the case, learn the scripture well enough to explain its message in your own words and share what it teaches you about Jesus Christ and His Atonement. That is also a successful pass-off.

The Medallion's Message

Becoming Whole in Christ

The broken circle represents us without Him. As we come to Christ, believe in Him, make and keep covenants with Him, and allow Him to heal, strengthen, redeem, save, and transform us, He can make us whole.
